The VMware Fling team have come forth yet again with another good and highly useful vSphere related offering. This time it comes in the form of a Thinapped vSphere Client. On the surface you may think that this doesn’t sound particularly exiting though this is definitely not the case. By being thinapped the vSphere Client can be run from a PC without it having to be installed and has further application in that it is also able to be run from media such as a USB key. Useful stuff.
Now, there is a catch and that is the current version is a thinapped build of the vSphere v4.1 Client and not the recent 4.1 Update 1 (U1) release which will be required if you want to use it to manage an ESX/ESXi 4.1 U1 host(s). The VMware Fling team are however apparently working on a new vSphere v4.1 U1 Client Thinapped build.
