VMware vSphere 5.1 Hardening Guide (Draft–Rev A)-Now Available

12 February 2013 by Simon Seagrave Leave a Comment

VMware vSphere 5.1 Hardening Guide Draft AvailableWith more and more IT departments now updating their VMware vSphere environments to vSphere 5.1 it is a good time for them to review their vSphere security.  The good news is that VMware have just released a ‘draft’ (Revision A) version of the vSphere 5.1 Hardening Guide for public download and review.

There is one area not currently covered in this latest vSphere hardening guide offering, and that is around the area of the new vSphere 5.1 SSO capabilities (as outlined by Mike Foley on the VMware Security and Compliance blog here). The SSO capabilities section will be added in an update to the guide soon.

Download the ‘draft’ version of the vSphere 5.1 hardening guide here, read it and stay secure.
