With VMworld (Americas) 2013 fast approaching at the end of August 2013, VMware have once again calling for session/paper proposals. In recent years it has become increasingly more competitive for non-VMware folk to get a session accepted, with a significant number of the overall VMworld session count being assigned to VMware staff, though that said there are still non-VMware employee sessions to be had.
If you feel you have a fantastically interesting VMworld session in you and feel like throwing your hat in the middle for consideration then head on over the the VMworld page here for more details on how to submit your paper, along with some useful hints and tips to help you in this submission process. Duncan over at Yellow-Bricks also has some useful pointers for when submitting your proposal.
If your paper gets selected then you will gain a complimentary full conference pass for VMworld (both or either Americas/Europe) along with the kudos of being selected and getting the opportunity to present.
So, if this sounds like something you’d like to do then don’t forget to get your proposal submitted by Friday 12th April 2013. Good luck!
