VMworld Europe – Day 1 (Pre-Madness)

Well it’s 7:38am here in Cannes and the madness (and excitement) which is VMworld Europe is about to begin.  There is quite a buzz in the air here and after the couple of product announcements yesterday there is speculation about what is in store for today.  Will ESX 4.0 or vSphere as it’ll be known be announced and an actual release date given?  What I  have heard on the jungle drums is that a Q2 launch is a strong possibility.

Watch my Twitter feed on the right of the page for up to the minute major announcements!  :)

In the meantime here are a couple of photo’s from the vCloud pavillion yesterday – as you can still see it was still being put together – but it does look awesome.  This is where I will be located for some of the event at the ioko stand.
