Busy, busy, busy – A TechHead Update

Well here I am after a solid two and a half months of work, which led on from a rather manic vSpecialist onboarding process and Vblock pre-sales period in July and August.  This has been my first weekend for quite some time where I haven’t had to worry about prepping for the following week, I have to say it has been nice and extremely relaxing.  Feet up on the couch watching the last Formula One race for the season – can’t beat it!  This weekend has been a good opportunity to recover my OSX install on my MacBook Pro after the SSD on which it was installed corrupted – or more accurately the OSX installation corrupted meaning that it wouldn’t load.  Still, after a fresh install of OSX things are looking better once again after a week where I’ve been working overseas and didn’t have access to my OSX re-build DVD, so no laptop access for me.  This is where I really began to appreciate the true value of the Apple iPad which I luckily had with me as this was my only means of keeping on top of emails and attending WebEx meetings.

As you may have noticed, I haven’t been too regular with my blog posts, this as you’ve probably already guessed is due to my lack of spare time though going forward I hope this to change a little with my getting some time back in my weekends and evenings – so watch this space for fresh new content and more regular updates in the ‘Hot Deals’, ‘Cool Tools’ and ‘Forum’ areas.

I have also spent some time checking my backlog of emails this weekend and have noticed a number of emails from readers which have been caught up in my over enthusiastic MS Outlook spam filter – so apologies to those of you who have emailed me and not received a reply as yet.  I will be replying shortly and will keep a closer eye on my spam filter in the future.
