VINF.NET pointed out this article to me which highlights a link to an HP forum topic regarding a new feature that allows the connection of a CD/DVD drive to an HP C7000 Blade Enclosure.
With the introduction of firmware release v2.01 USB CD & DVD drives can now be connected to the Onboard Administrators (OA) USB port. However as Eric Reitz points out in the HP forum topic there is an issue with the Sony DRX-S50U USB DVD Drive – a work around however is provided.
