Well, I’m rather looking forward to this… I’ll be taking part in a live web cast this Wednesday (12th January) at 9:00AM GMT along three other virtualization bloggers: VMware’s Richard Garsthagen (www.run-virtual.com), Maish Saidel-Keesing (technodrone.blogspot, com) and the one and only ex Cisco and VCE newbie Steve Chambers (www.viewyonder.com).
The topic for this BrightTalk web cast? “Virtualization Challenges in 2011”, which should make for a topical and interesting subject for discussion. I always like the chance to talk about virtualization especially around the challenges, some founded and some unfounded, that businesses face. Of course the adoption of virtualization technologies isn’t for everyone with some businesses having only just dipped their toe into the virtualization waters where as other businesses stop virtualizing when it comes to their tier one business critical applications. Some haven’t even start the virtualization journey. So what challenges and factors are influencing these and other businesses in their adoption of virtualization?
This prove to be a great blogger discussion complete with audience participation so come along, listen and join in. Details and the ability to sign up for the web cast can be found below. It will be recorded by BrightTALK for your later listening pleasure. See you there.
