The news that I’d been awarded one of the three hundred global VMware vExpert titles during the recent VMworld Europe conference came as a most fantastic surprise. I received the following email from VMware’s John Troyer:
“ Congratulations! On behalf of VMware, we would like to thank you for all the
work you’ve done giving back to the virtualization community and sharing your expertise with others. We are pleased to present you with the VMware vExpert Award for 2009. VMware is giving this award to individuals who have contributed significantly to the community of VMware users over the past year. “
A massive thank you to those of you who nominated me and the blog for the vExpert title – I really appreciate it and it has further inspired me to write more regular articles on TechHead during my spare time.
As always I am open to suggestions on things you’d like to see on the site, potential topic areas you’d like covered and just general feedback on what you find useful, etc.
Thanks again to all of you who voted for me and to VMware for awarding the title,
Si 🙂
Congratulations Si, you totaly deserve it. For me Techhead is one of the best and most easily accessable VMWare resources on the web. Your work has helped me and my business out no end.
Thanks for the feedback – much appreciated. IT really focuses me to write more articles that I hope people find useful.
Just need to try and find some more hours in the day. 🙂
