vExpert 2011 – Three Years in a row… Must be doing something right?

The VMware vExpert 2011 notification emails were sent out yesterday (Friday) and I’m very pleased to announce that VMware considered me worthy of receiving the vExpert title for a third year in a row!  This is much appreciated as it is nice to receive this nod of approval from VMware and of course my much valued readers of TechHead, so a massive thanks to the VMware selection committee and to all of you who may have nominated me.  Even if you didn’t thanks for reading TechHead.

As always I have a list of ideas for interesting blog post topics the length of my arm though just need to start finding some spare time to start putting these ideas into blog post form and published on the site.  With VMworld 2011 fast approaching and my involvement in the preparations for my employer, EMC, it is going to be another crazy-busy (though enjoyable in a geeky way) couple of months though I will be ensuring I do find some quiet downtime to keep regular posts appearing on the site. 

Finally I’d like to make a special shout out to the head of VMware’s Social Media team, John Troyer, who works darn hard to keep the vExpert programme running smoothly along with other VMware related social media activities – thanks John!

Keep your comments to any posts and emails coming in as I always like hearing from and assisting people with questions where I can, apologies in responding some times – this work thing sometimes gets in the way .
