Scott Herald, one of the authors (along with Ron Oglesby and Mike Laverick) of the popular VMware ESX book, VMware Infrastructure 3: Advanced Technical Design Guide (and Advanced Operations Guide) has just released 4 chapters free for download on his site VMGuru.
I have found this book (both revisions) a good informative read and is always close to hand for the occasional reference. I would strongly recommend
downloading these free chapters and to have a look if you haven’t already bought the book.
